Just like the title implies, I’m new to blender and learning how to do basic hard-surface modeling. I know I can ctrl+R
loop cut to add an edge; however that can get somewhat complicated on an area that has a lot going on already.
Basically, what I’m wanting to do is add an edge on the roof portion on the left and right of the edge that is going straight down the center, just above he window. I could add a loop cut but that adds more edges than I need, and I’ll end up deleting them and remaking the faces anyways. Is there a faster/more efficient way to accomplish this?
P.S sorry if that was a bit confusing, I tried to make it as easy as possible and I’m still fairly new to Blender. Any and all help/advice/feedback is appreciated!
