help installing blender on linux

i need help on installing blender on “fedora core 2 test 1”…
plz help

Hello

Be more specific, please.
Normally, installing Blender in a Linux box, is as simple as extracting the
Blender tgz file to let’s say /usr/local and maybe make a symbolic link from the
blender executable inside the newly created directory to /usr/bin/blender, this way you can open an xterm anywhere
and type blender and “voilá”

Is this clear???
