hi well im a making a phone i have the basic shape of the phone but how can i make like a dent for the screen

(a mobile phone)

extrude

then extrude again

then extrude again (move a little this time)
then extrude again

I assume you are using subsurfs

it may be a bit easier to be specific if I could see what you have so far though, but extruding is about how you would do it.
