I am new to 2.55 but I have used the 2.4 series for years. one of the first new things I realized is with point density I can make spray paint like effects on a mesh, but the problem is that I dont know how to make the particles stop being there after contact with the mesh but still leaving the color. I was going to use the aplha system shown in http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Making_Fire but that doesn’t seem to work on 2.55. thank you for any help you can offer and I am sorry if I am vague
Hi. There is a build with dynamic paint that can be found here.http://www.miikahweb.com/en/tutorials/dynamic-paint-guide#6 You can use a particle system as a paint object.
