What is the best? 1 - without ornament inside. 2 - With ornament inside the heart key.

“Ask the ironmonger …” Which one of them looks better to you? This an artistic decision. (And, back in the day, a product of the craftsman’s skills or lack thereof.)

I think the ornaments are not as important as general proportions. They are of course hard to judge, because you are not even showing the whole model and don’t provide any context(which is a real puzzle to me - why would you chose to hide that?..). Anyway, it seems to me that’s an old fashioned iron key, something like this:
In that case, at least in my opinion the proportions are really unbalanced with the thickness of the parts. There is a huge difference in thickness here:
That looks really annoying and unbalanced to me.
I mean it’s not necessarily unrealistic, they were probably made ugly like that sometimes:
But I just find it very aesthetically unbalanced. And it’s probably problematic functionally, because the thinner parts may break more easily, or the thick ones may be unnecessarily thick - which why would you want to make something like a lock bigger and not smaller so it’s easier to lock-pick?.. Anyway… I think it would look more balanced to make the thickness of detail more similar.

Well, you’re right, I didn’t leave any more information for this “puzzle” that you solved and got right. I’m still a beginner in 3D, but I appreciate the tips and feedback here.
I’m glad to see how serious people in the Blender community are about 3D work.
I will present the basis of what I have done so far for the iron key model, I really took reference from old models that remind me of the Victorian era.
Note: I’m sorry for the lack of clarity.
