Okay, I know that there has to be a way to do this, yet I have seemed to have forgotten how to go about it. What I need to do is to be able to zoom in on the file manager or the text editor windows to make the text larger. I do not wish to make the GUI text larger, it is fine as it is. I would just like to zoom in on text windows. This problem is making me crazy (or perhaps crazier). Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you for your reply. All of the methods of zooming (according to your hints and the wiki) work very well in 3D viewports, but not in any text windows. Now this is becoming a bit of a compulsion for me. I do have several very nice screen magnifyers that work quite nicely (I can take a pixel and blow it up to full screen if I wish) yet, if I could, I would rather prefere to do this in blender only without any third party applications running in the background (memory usage and all of that). Perhaps this was not ever possible in blender and it is only my imagination playing tricks with me, yet I could almost swear that this is possible. Yikes! I have tried all kinds of key/mouse combinations and nothing that I have done so far seems to work, and at times entertains me with unexpected results, such as opening files that I don’t want to be in, or even more frustrating, nothing at all. Is it just me being a bit of a dunce at times or is this feature simply not available?
