Help me!

okay, so we have to do a short story, but ive no idea what to write about. ive already used up all my uranium man ideas for other pieces, and am facing complete and total writers block.

so could you elysiun people, as my good friends, with more postive qualities too say, that i admire very very much and want to grow up and be just like when i grow up, and which i will worship in front of my holy altar(computer) all the time, so could you give me an idea for something, preferably funny/horror, to write about?

or, even better, if you want me to respect you forever and ever so much, write me the complete story, atleast 3 drafts, more than one page each(font 12 times new roman)?

I too am often in that situation. Here’s a way to get out of it. It works; I use it all the time.

Take a piece of paper, and write down “keywords” (things that you’d want to use in the story) arbitrarily. (For a good idea of what keywords are, go to the IMDb. Be wary of pop-ups and banners, though.) To keep your idea limited (and to make yourself sure you won’t be sitting there writing forever), you may want to write down a certain number of keywords (i.e. 23) that you can use. Once you’re done, look at them. Try to think of ways that you could link them all together in one plot. For example:

multiple-outcomes
tortoise
part-animated
running
screaming
casino
soccer-ball

To figure out how all of these fit together, watch “Run Lola Run” (aka “Lola Rennt”). It’s a really cool film, though you should steer clear of the dub–it has awful voice acting and I turned it back to it’s native language–German–in a short while.

Anyway, when you’ve thought up a number of ways that you could link things together (or haven’t, since it will work anyway), sit at your computer and try to write a detailed plot. The details should stick at least a little close to your keywords. If the plot sucks, alter it so that it doesn’t.

PS: If anybody knew you asked people to write the story for you, they could get suspicious about the final product. Just use the keyword system. I guarantee you can get at least decent results out of it.

yes, i see what you mean. quite right you are, what if it turns out one of these asshole moderators are one of my asshole teachers?dum dum duuuuuuuuummmm. more than likely. well anyways, if anyone will actually write me 3 drafts of a story, i will change it, alot. like change the plot a bit, change the characters names, maybe give them a little sex change perhaps, use different adjectives(thank god for the thesaurus at dictionary.com), and stuff like that. i can change anithing.
