hi so i was on blender 3d 2.49 and i put a couple of shapes down then you can go into that view the you can see the shapes as if you were on the ground yeah i dont know how to do that can somebody help please

Do you mean the view you get by pressing the number pad keys 1 or 3? You can also middle click with your mouse to rotate the 3D view.
Or are you looking for something else?
