I’m modeling a cartoonish mouse for a project I’m working on and I really have a problem with the mouth…
I tried about 10 times to make it correctly, but all of my attempts finally were a failure…
I need some advises, tips or a workflow of modeling the mouth properly…:spin::eek:
I uploaded a picture also of the mouse so far…
try starting with a reference image. you can draw it yourself, or just find something close. it doesn’t have to be a blueprint, but just something to help you visualize the greater picture as you go.
Just start out by finding where the mouth needs to be. I would also suggest modeling inside of the mouth especially if the mouse opens it. You don’t want to see just one giant hole!!
As I said, I tried to model the mouth many times, I deleted some faces, I modeled inside the mouth and then I tweaked the whole mouth a bit… The mouth wasn’t soo bad, but now the model was looking like an anteater rather than a mouse…!! :spin::eek::spin:
So basically the problem is on the topology and especially positioning of the mouth…
Each reference image I found, has it’s own mouse, with it’s own mouth, which does not match with mine… I want help on the positioning of the mouth (where to cut the faces, how big will be etc.) and any other tips.:eek:
