I’ve been trying to get a smoke/cloud “glowing from the inside” effect working, inspired by pictures like these:
My current results are these:
Smoke generate with the smoke sim and the glow with a longated icosphere with an emission shader.
And the other try by adding an emission shader to the generate smoke itself (turned out funky):
with this node setup (first try same setup, without the emission part):
The first try seems to have the desired effect more than the second, but I was wondering, if there was a way to get the smoke itself glowing from the inside.
If you guys have any better ideas or suggestions, let me know!
