I’m a beginner and still trying to figure Blender out.
I have a problem as when I try to use Cycle render, my pc use cpu instead of my GPU
I’m on Blender version 2.92

I use
PC windows 7
Nvidia Geforce 950
with the latest driver (466.27)

On the preference setting

I have tried
-Uninstall the graphic driver and reinstall it
-downgrade graphic driver to version 452.06
-reinstall Blender

NOTHING WORKED
please help

Hi.
Have you tried selecting the option to perform a clean installation from nvidia installer?

Did you always have this nvidia card? Or for example, before you had an AMD card in this same Windows installation?

Thx for the reply

I tried reinstall the graphic driver using clean install option but it still not worked.
I have this Nvidia card for couple of year now and it worked fine. I can still use it to play game. I never had AMD card in this pc.

I also check that the CUDA setting in Nvidia control panel have a tick mark in the graphic card.

Every other program seem to detect my gpu but not blender.

You download GPU-Z and you show an screenshot of the first tab of it here.

well the CUDA option is not ticked. Is that the reason why it is not working if so how to fix it?

Yes, CUDA is not being detected on your system.
You should ask in some official nvidia forum about your problem.

There is something odd going out there. You should have OpenCL and Cuda ticked. there is no compute driver loaded there.
I suggest to use DDU to remove all traces of the driver and reinstall it clean. Also use the latest driver. Your driver is one year old.
