Is there a tutorial about rigging elbow? I kind of stuck.
well, i would go into a big thing about vertice weighting, armature styles, etc., but we just got this new feature that is great for correcting such nastiness on the fly. select the verts in edit mode that are getting out of place when the mesh is distorted by the armature, and press ctrl h. an empty will appear. it is actually a ‘hook’. now when you move the hook, those verts will move along with it. be sure to parent the hook to the mesh, or the armature, so when you move your character his elbow doesn’t stay behind. so, when the part comes where the elbow distortion gets ugly just set a couple of keyframes for the hook to correct it.
