help on modeling face

Hello all!
Say if I wanted to model a face… If I wanted to just model half and then just add it again on the other side you know what I mean? Or even better would be if there was some way of modeling something and making it sortof symetric like doing the same on the other side?

Any help would be really apreaciated


use the mirror modifier.

or if you’re sculpting, it has options for mirroring also. but you seem a bit new to jump into sculpting, I’m still getting the hang of it myself. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep use the mirror modifier. Create your starting mesh, such as a cube, make a knife cut down the center and then delete one of the halfs. Now when you apply the mirror modifier you’ll have a perfectly symmetrical mesh mirrored along the X axis : )
