Help playing md2 imported Shape IPO

I’m trying to play an imported shape IPO in the game engine: exported from 3DS Max in md2 format and imported into Blender.

I can play the animation in the editor, but cannot play it in the game engine.

Each frame as been imported as a shape key…

Have no idea if it’s doable, or if I can do anything to transform these shape keys so the action will be playable in the game engine…

Any help appreciated!

ADDENDUM: maybe not a typical problem (I guess, no replies…)
Work-around that seems to work(!): export 3DS Max ipo in md5 format, putting a small armature in the moving objects - then it becomes importable as Actions…
