Help smoke rendering

Hi,
Please help me I am trying to make flames in current scene.
I used quick smoke and few settings to make flame for the burner.
When I switched to render view the flame was not rendered. Why is that?
how to change color of the flame as i want it to look like gas burner flames.
Is there any way not to redo ALT+A again and again.

In the smoke domain, in the area titled ‘cache’ change start and end frames ( 1 and 100?) and click ‘bake’ to end the alt a stuff.

As for rendering, well, hard to say, do you have a material on the smoke domain? Can you post a blend?

Sure I can share the .blend file.

When you use quick smoke, you have 3 available presets : Smoke, Smoke+Fire and Fire.
The one by default is Smoke. It creates a Cycles material that does not have nodes to render flames.
It is the one used in your .blend.

I believe you. You probably used quick smoke to have domain and emitter set-up. But instead of changing preset to Fire, you changed emitter’s property.
And as a result, material was not adapted.

To easily solve your problem, you just have to use quick smoke in default.blend on default cube with Fire preset.
Then, go to node editor, select nodes from Attribute node with flame name to to Emission shader.
Copy them with Ctrl C.
Open your HotAirBaloon.blend file.
Go to node editor and paste nodes with Ctrl V.
Connect Emission shader node to Add shader node.
Increase multiply node value and tweak a little bit color ramp by moving stops to the left.
Now, render should looks like what you see in viewport.

To change flames color, change colors of colorramp.
Although smoke color is under Flames panel, its influence is relative to a Smoke+Fire simulation. This setting is ignored by a Fire simulation.

Thanks Zeauro…
I will make suggested changes and share the results…

He has a fire emitting object, the problem I believe is that in your fire material, assigned to the domain, you are using a material for smoke only. You should look for a fire only material, or a fire + smoke material, which will always have as one of it’s node attributes ‘flame’

You can google, ‘cycles fire material nodes’ – there’s also lots of free stuff at blendswap (search ‘fire’)

Hi guys
I added the emition shader which i didn’t earlier…
Now Please help me improve this material o that it look like gas burner flames.
One more problem the inside part of lower balloon portion behaving badly because of inverted Normals… how should I
improve it.
Any other suggestion for balloon material any other object…
