HELP! SubSurf is pulling on my mesh?

Hi guys, just a quick question.
I have added a subsurf modifier to my object but it seems to be pulling on this individual vertex.

The rest of the mesh is fine. However the front shape is a cone so all the vertices are going into one if that could be the cause? it’s a plane i’m modeling so I wanted the nose cone as sharp as possible.

Here’s it in wireframe:

And here’s it without the subsurf editing cage turned on. notice how far away it pulls.

Excuse the messy mesh. Can anyone help me with this? Has this happened to anybody else?

You are mixing triangles and quad faces. The inconsistency will give inconsistent results as tris and quads will give different results with the subsurf modifier
