I was surfing the internet on ways on how to change Blender files into something a .wav file or something playable. (My .blend file is a game) Anyhow, I probably didn’t word it right, so I decided to post a thread here and see if anyone can help me.
All I want to do is transfer my blender file from one computer to another, but I don’t want to download blender into my new computer…And I want to play the game on my new computer, too. Thanks guys for helping me out
What you are looking for is save game engine as runtime. this can be accessed by activating the save game engine as runtime addon through user preferences and then going to file->export->save game engine as runtime.
On a side note a .wav is an audio file. You can’t play games with it. What you are looking for is a .exe which is a binary executable that can contain anything that executes logic on a windows operating system.
What if you run Blender from a USB key ? No installation needed, just unzip Blender there and run it.
So I already browsed through there and found the following files:
.dae
.ply
.3ds
.fbx
.obj
.x3d
.mdd
None of which I’ve heard before. I don’t know which on to try.
These are 3d mesh formats. If you want to save your blender game as a standalone game see post no.2 above. If you don’t have a game you need to be clearer on exactly what you want.
