Compensation:
I’m curious about the project, but I have to ask…
How does non commercial = no compensation?
After typing that question some ideas come to mind, but I’d like to know more on this particular case.

This is almost 2 years old, I doubt the guy is still watching this thread. It looks like the project is still active and slowly progressing. Might have better luck asking about it in their own forums http://awakenedmmo.org/forums/index.php

They won´t get any money back for doing the game, and as a consequence, they can´t afford paying for work. Quite simple mathematics really.
