Hello, I’m new here::D. I don’t know if this belongs here, but with the book “Introducing Character Animation with Blender, 2007”, I was wondering on page 33 in chapter 2, when it states to apply the mirror modifier it doesn’t seem to work or mirror what I do. I already asked Mr. Mullen, but that didn’t help either. Thanks.
On the Plane you added, Tab into Edit mode and select the two Verts on the left (center of pic), Shft-S >> Cursor to Selection. Tab back into Object mode and in the buttons window click “Center Cursor”. Now when you add a Mirror Modifier it will use the Object Center you snapped as the axis from which to build the mirror.
