Help with a curved bottom

Okay, I am having a heck of a time trying to get the bottom portion of my design down. I need the edge to come down into a curved edge. I tried to do it by building off of the main cylinder and also tried adding half of a sphere. I am making a cartoon lightning bolt I just can’t show the whole reference as it’s work related.

This should be possible with edit mode → selecting the edge loop running around the flat end → CTRL-B to bevel and slide the mouse and scroll wheel to control depth and roundness OR use the dialogue box that comes up. If you click and it goes away you can bring it back with F9
