Help with cameras and locking to view

I am working on a doughnut tutorial, and I am trying to set up a camera for a render, but even when I create a new one, I don’t get a view from it when I press 0. Any help?

Deactivate “camera to view” in the right menu. And zoom out a little bit.

You are in camera view (see top left info). But with “Camera to view” the camera is adjusted every time you change your 3d view to match that view angle.

I figured that out now.

However, I now want to know if this is good.
