Help with Caustics not working

I’m using Blender 4.3, Cycles, GPU Compute.
I have a basic glass bottle that I want some caustics shining onto the plane. Ideally they would be the blueish tint since the glass is blue. Everything I see online is telling me to check boxes for “receive shadow caustics”, “enable shadow caustics” etc. all in the shading tab and the object properties. I’m not seeing anything related to caustics in any tab what so ever. Am I missing something, I attached the tab I’m seeing and the render settings I’m using also.

Thanks for any help on this!

You have to use Cycles for caustics

That’s weird, the option is actually missing in your screenshot. I have no idea why that would happen though. Are you sure a mesh is selected?

In the meantime, you could try the alternative. Switch Cycles to CPU, activate path guiding, make sure clamping and filter glossy are off.

It should work (definitely use cycles). You need to emit from the light, cast with the object, and receive it on the surface. - can you share the .blend file to check?

Heres a test…
