Help with creating procedural gauze / whispy / sheer fabric material

I’m having trouble coming up with a material in cycles similar to the photos below.

It’s a very sheer fabric that you can see through.

It feels like the answer involves mixing together some number of voronoi textures at different scales and a transparent shader but I’m having trouble getting anything decent.

Hello, a possible solution :
I used three scratch textures (B&W) at different scales, plugged into the “Alpha” channel, on three different overlapping surfaces (see image below).

And the result :

I’m using @fthaler’s add-on : Scratch Texture Generator

I just discovered this, which is perhaps closer to procedural, for scratches : Scratch texture generator (geometry nodes) @mart0nnn.
