Help with distorted texture

I’m modeling an object and all was going well until today. I’m looking at the model and I noticed part of the texture had become distorted, however the distortion does not appear in Edit mode, only in Object mode. Has anyone encountered this before or does anyone know what I can do to fix it?? Did my UVs get out of whack? Did the verts get moved?

My guess is, that you edited your mesh after you unwrapped it. Any changes of your mesh after unwrapping is not reflected in your UVs.
