Help with dupliframes!?

I am trying to use dupliframes, not for animation, but to model a chain-like object. Here is a screenshot.

You can see that at the beginning and end of the 100 frames, the dupliframed section speeds up and slows down. Interesting, but right now I DON"T WANT IT TO DO THAT!!! And I can’t turn it off; I tried every button combination as well as downloading 3 older versions of blender to see if they wouldn’t. The reason I’m particularly bothered is that I MADE THIS EXACT SAME MODEL BEFORE USING THE SAME METHOD and it worked fine!
Grr! :< :< :< :< :<

Sorry… I usually don’t capitalize phrases that way :expressionless:

Does anyone know how to fix this? It’ll probably be my mistake and I’ll hate myself for it, but I need to know.

Try turning on “No Speed” on the child object - it’s near the DupliFrames button

You have to make the animation curve in the IPO curve editor to be linear.

Thanks philip and bigbad! I sorted it out.

I didn’t know path IPOs existed. :o
