Help with getting clean edges.

The areas circled In orange, I really need to know how to get the edges there to be sharp and clean (on the black part).

there isn’t really a setting for “hard edges” yet.

The only thing I know of so far (when using subsurfs) is by placing 2 verticles really close together. so try extruding those verticles and not moving the extruded ones.
