I am new in Blender, creating a large landscape, and using the ANT mountain-like landscape add-on that is 1000 x 1000 blender units. I am trying to blend 3 textures using the node editor to fade from dead grass to rocky towards the top. I created the mixture just fine, but when I apply it to the entire landscape object, two things go wrong that I cannot find how to fix:
1- I want the separation between textures to be more natural, instead of a straight line around the entire landscape.
2- I want the texture to be applied so that when I transfer this model to unity, the resolution of the texture is clear when viewed from very close as if you were walking on the landscape. Since the object is so large, when I apply the texture it is not clear (like the texture looks when I imported it).
