help with projectile....

Ok, here it is… I am making a mounted gun on turret, I am using add object for bullet. everything works, except, I cant figure out how to make the bullet shoot the direction the gun is pointing, I have tried everything I could think of. It just goues in the y axis. My gun rotates and goes up and down, but the bullet only goes one direction. I have tried empties, parenting, etc… cant figure it out, I thought it would be simple, probably is, me being a NOOB probably. Can anyone help, would be greatly appreciated, Oh and the bullet is on second layer, then add object to first layer, and am using Publisher 2.25, Thanks

if you have an empty for instance that add the bullet, you can add a linV in the 'add object 'actuator now check the axes of the object that is adding… and set the appropriate linV…and then don’t forget to make this a local thing (press the L after the linV boxes) now no matter which way the object is rotated it the add object will use the linV in the local direction of the object…

that should do it…

That was it, I was not pressing the L button for (MAKE TRANSFORMATION LOCAL). Your reply was right on the money. Thanks again…
