Help with rigging character

Hey guys, I have created this character with all separate parts like the boots, head and stomach etc. I was wondering how i would add/ connect armature to this character? so i can start animating the character.

I am really stuck any help will be great!


There are two ways to do it. If you want your character to move like robot with rigid body parts all you do is to parent each body parts to corresponding bone. If you want body parts to move more organic and bend, you will need to join all body parts then rig /weigh it.

There is a nice blender video tutorial that covers animation and rigging. I think it was called Rigify. It is quite indepth.
