I recently purchased 3D Creator 1.1. I now want to use Blender 2.36. When I double click on Setup, as the Readme file tells me to do, I get the following message: “The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus. You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.” I am running off of the disk. Please let me know how to get Setup , and ultimately, Blender, to work. Thank You!
Is there a particular reason that you’re using Blender 2.36 and not the new release, Blender 2.41? I’m not sure if you’re trying to run from the hard disk or a CD, so this may be more than you need.
To run Blender off of a CD, I did this:
- Installed Blender to computer.
- Copied Blender install and pasted to CD.
- Burned CD
To use the burned CD I just had to go to the folder on the CD and double click the blender application file.
To run off of the hard disk you should probably get the Blender 2.41 release and just launch the installer.
Hope that’s what you were after.

Just forget the copy on the disc and download it here:
