I am very new to Blender, and, whenever I accidentaly click render (or anim) I have to either wait through the render, or close blender altogether. The render time can be incredibly long, especially if I click anim, so, is there anyway to close the render without closing blender?,
Hit Esc.
-Laurifer
to stop an animation, (and any other command in command prompt) open the command prompt part of blender, and press ctrl+C
All of these answers are correct, but man does it take forever to stop a huge rendering regardless, (especially when you have a load of RAM).
or . . . you could learn not to “accidently” hit the render button
“Render” is a feature you only use when you have to (j/k)
