I’m editing a video for a school project but when I import the video file (.mts) to Blender, the video clips shows as expected, but the audio strip is shortened; it is the whole sound though. Is this a frame rate issue? Do you know how to fix it or how to tell the frame rate of a video (.mts) using VLC?

It could be an issue with the videofile having a different framerate than you Blender scene. Check what framerate the clips are in and set the same in your render settings.
