Please show some screenshots of what you’re working with; most people don’t want to download a file from an unknown person, for something that might easily be solved by seeing a couple of visual references.
Looks generally fine to me? but I assume the issue you have is these dark seams right?
this is because the edge of your image, is dark green, and the texture is set to extend, so it gets a little bit bigger. Two easy fixes, would be removing the dark green border turning it all white, or simply dragging in the edges to fit in the white areas of the image.
Oh I’m sorry! Will remember next time!! Thanks for the advice
Thanks!! I’ll try it out
A few thing to take into account,
you have 2 half’s (front Back) you need to align the verts where they join so the image matches. Better not to overlap them they need to line up.
I scaled the “back” side to fit on the image.
The metallic texture was bleeding because your “outer edges” (on the sides and bottom ) were outside of the image. I straightens things up a bit and made sure the sides and bottom fit in the image.
Here is the file (compressed in Blender) I did not include the images, if you put my file in the same folder as yours they should show up.
tube3.blend (263.1 KB)
PS sorry I did this in 5.3 so if you are using an older version you might not be able to open the file.
But it is a question of scaling, aligning the 2 half’s and straightening things out.
