What am I doing wrong here? In Andrews Video, the Circle on the UV Map is not there.
You haven’t correctly marked your UV seams to get a tidy unwrap. I’d personally select the inner circle polygon, mark it as a seam, that way the sides would unwrap in a more linear fashion.
