Hi, I’m trying to make this Hellhound Wolf with flames coming out of his eyes and mouth as if he has the fires of hell in him.
I set up some watertight flame shapes and gave them a volumetric material. Nothing I do seems to make that volume density increase much.
Here’s my settings:
It seems the lower I set scattering (.00001 !!!) it manages to have more dots in the volume, but nothing is really filling it up. The Density is 1 and Density Scale is 30. Emission is 7.48.
What am I doing wrong? I just need these to fill up with some soft cloudy yellow emission material so I can do the rest in post. These settings are way different than in the wiki.
If I start a new file and give a volume material to the cube, the only setting I need to change is the Emission value and color and it gives a nice flame like glow. But I do the same thing in this file and I get like 12 little dots in the volume.
So far, The wolf is probably a bit too cuddly looking. I’m just getting started with this thing really.
(I modified a found free wolf from Turbo Squid for the basemesh and did some sculpting on it)
There is a lot to be desired, I know, but I’m learning here.
Thank you for any assistance.
