Help with yafray.

Hi guys, i did this image in yafray with use of a tutoriol and i’m kinda new at it. Let me know if i’m on the right track. Any feedback is appreciated.:smiley:

This being a cube, you may want to opst this in the blender tests page. Anyway, the caustics are kind of odd and there are soe stray photons giving that speckled look. you may want to increase the photon blending. Experiment with the radius value, this mixes and blurs the photons together.

I’m curious, was the blue bottom color intentional?

i’ve since i think corrected the problem with the photon problem. However the blue bottom was not intentional. i think it a relection of my world settings since i did not assign a specific color. i think…:smiley:

better, but the caustics looks harsh, and too bright. You may want to soften or lower the light intensity. and the way the shadow is directed, you used two lights facing different directions, right? If you did you may want to fix that by simply copying the photon lamp from the shadow making lamp.
