As someone who deals with printers regularly, you don’t want anything printed at that resolution. Those printers that can handle that…are very expensive and tend to make any print done to it…outrageously expensive. I’m not sure that I would ever want to pay over $1000 for a poster. LOL
I’d do it at 300dpi. For most folks, including posters…it’s quite sufficient. 
But…it would make a really cool poster, either way.
