Here's to you.

Meet Clem:

wow looks really great :o

not sure about the eyelashes though

Hyper funny irony! Nice

That is FUNNY! Thanks for making my day!

Nice rendering, shaders, and texturing.

Only thing I don’t like are the eyelashes. Very nice texturig job.

Woodman5k your texturing is fantastic! I love the detail in the Iris. Is that the same Pixar Iris texture that everyone has?

Your character might need more hair. Remove the mono brow, And the English teeth, well I don’t know, it’s up to you.

Shoot! I forgot about the eyelashes when I did my final rendering. They were somewhat of a placeholder when first created. They obviously need to be thinner and in larger numbers.

Thanks for the comments everyone. This is about the only blender creation I have made where I can actually look at it and laugh.

To let anyone know I used particle hair…but I had to Gimp in a lot to cover open patches of head.

Again thanks for the comments.

edit ozo: Thanks, the iris is the pixar eye that has just been highly modified in Gimp. His name is Clem so the Monobrow, teeth, and low hair count adds to his hillbillyness

Heh…

Were you inspired to create this character by your difficulty in creating a normal hairstyle?

Looks pretty good . . . would be funny too, if it didn’t look so much like me.

hmm I just noticed, there’s a spec problem on the iris

“Your just an Ignorant, Inbred, Hick! <CLICK, Dial tone>” Btw, Where did you get a picture of me?

Cire: No, the hairstyle came at the end. And yes, I found your and jackj’s pictures and just combined them.

Alex_G: Please elaborate. Or just think of it as artistic play of light

Funny note: A friend of mine wouldn’t even look at it for more than a second because he is afraid of hillbillies

part from that bit of stretching of the texture on the nose, the texture is one of the best on this board I’ve seen.
P

vliegtuig: Wow thanks!!! That is a huge compliment and rather undeserving I think.

Modeling looks good  , but try working on more texture maps (color, bump, spec, etc) and lighting.

cheers!
