Hey, what’s up? It seems like it’s been a little while.
I haven’t been doing much blendering lately, but always make sure I keep it close by. You know how you go through those phases where you’ll go a few months with lots of graphics ideas then some where you’ll just wanna do something else.
Staying decently sane for the time being. I guess you can say life in general is a dynamic situation. Especially when you through in women, then you get the three body problem. Like the earth, moon, and sun. Except here it’s RedBull, yager, and females. When they go 'round and 'round, you can never predict where they’ll be in the morning.
Oh well… one thing’s for sure… the more you live, the more you die!!!
Good to see you back from a Blender hiatus!!! I had a couple of months were i didnt really blend recently, started when i was sick and when i got better the momentum just wasnt there. And with no projectz, we start letting real life invade and pretty soon we forget how to parent meshes and all sorts of simple things…
Anywayz, hope your going to be making some stuff in Blender soon, it will be good for you!!!
Dude! gosh we all missed you! ^^ oh and thank again about the limited time hosting it was nice while it lasted ^^…Gosh well Just wanted to say hi and nice to see you again hope to hear more from you
Nahh… no secret. Just not very interesting right now. Working for my parents as IT director, which is probably where I’m going to stay for quite a while. The company is growing like nothing else in this area, and we’re at that stage were I’m needing to develop and implement systems such as factory floor data collection and better graphics workstations. Plus I’m going to be doing a little side consulting with another Linux cluster company, so that’ll be pretty good.
Well, actually I’m doing quite a bit on the side as well. I’m a facilitator, and in a month will be in charge of this area’s branch of the DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance). I try and help people learn about what medicines they’re on and what those medicines do both to them and to the condition. One thing I’ve been trying to push heavily to people, is to talk to their doctors about a game-plan for their future. For instance, mine is hoping to have me off all my pills within a year and a half. Instead of just giving in to doctors, people should actually understand a little about what is wrong with them and what the pills do. That way they can give better feedback which allow the doctors to do much more intricate and accurate adjustments, and may actually allow people to get off some pills because the problem was else where.
We’re actually following a certain treatment theory that’s used to treat some types of seizures. The idea that because the chemical imbalance isn’t cause by a structual problem, that by lowering the stress levels internally to the brain for a period of a year or so, you can basically reset the condition. This combined with good psychotherapy will allow you to then recognize onsetting symptoms and elevated stress levels, and give you time to intervene.
I’ve also been writing quite a bit of poetry lately and am hoping to start a book here soon. I would like it to be kind’ve like a voyage through chaos. Then piece together art, poetry, and writing to bring it to life.
That’s all so far that I can think of that I’m up to now. But I’m sure there’s some more stuff that’s slipped my mind. Tonight is open mic night at the club, so I’m on my way down there. I’m hoping to hear Cartman sing “Come Sail Away” again, it’s freakin hilarious. Damn, even if you haven’t drank anything it’s funny.
Just kidding, Adam. Welcome back. I’ve matured about 1/784646125684167874235674654316543646218 of the way to maturity. If that. It’s less on my IQ about what’s really controversial, though–for an example, look at that “Invasion Of Privacy” thread. FOOM! There I go again.

I think this is very important… Because from what I know, most people even if they understand their problem, one of the reasons they refuse to seek help, is because of their ignorance on the subject… They are afraid of the doctors, they are afraid of what others might say!!! They are afraid of the medication…
If that theory is correct (I don’t actually know for a fact, cause it is not my field…), then people should be informed of that and understand that they do not necessarily need to be under permanent medication… On the other hand, the more they understand about the condition, the more they can help the doctors to help them…
It is well known, that most people today, have lost the ability to do creative things… Creativity has gonne away from most people’s work… No matter what you do, it’s like you’re working in one of those huge mass production factories… And you are just a tiny piece of the machine… With no name… With out a face…
Art on the other hand is extremely chaotic… You model a scene on Blender and this is something unique… No matter if there are better artists, than you, it is yours and noone can reproduce it exactly the way you did it… Like photography… No mass production, no more uncreative things… You just do what you think you’ve always liked to do… And you feel like you have become someone… Not just a number on a uniform…
Keep doing creative things… It helps a lot…
Tonight is open mic night at the club, so I’m on my way…
Do you mean, it’s like, the audience is allowed to go up on the stage in front of the microphone and say anything they like??? Well, if I understood well it has to be funny… Jesus!!! I have to try this some day… (:P)
