I’ve recently started using Blender, and thought I’d make myself known here
I scratchbuild scale models (real) and have mastered a few garage kits. This is a WIP of an upcoming Kit master.
My own design of a Romulan (from Star Trek) light cruiser:
Please let me know what you think. I’m still learning the tricks of Blender, so any tips or suggestions are welcome.
wow that is really cool… have you tried bump mapping yet?
You mean Nor maps? It does have them, but it’s very (VERY) subtle, mostly on the dark green sections, I’ve got some panel details bump-mapped.
I’m still working on getting surfaces to come out smooth… haven’t nailed that down just yet.
