Hi, Blender community im getting just a beginner at blender. I have a Macbook air 2012 and was thinking about purchasing a new computer ( I would like to stay in the Apple Family ) does anyone have any suggestions and why ? i felt like it is time for a New mac book and the rendering showed me that I may need a new computer. If you’re planning to use Cycles, then you can forget about GPU rendering. So you’re safe to choose any Mac without dedicated graphics card. Rendering performance would be determined mostly by the CPU.
If you’re planning to use Eevee, I’m not sure about the GPU support, maybe someone else has any advise about current Mac support?
Thank you! i may use cycles to try to get that realism effect. I may just keep using my Mac book air 2012 as well. Are there any beginners tutorials that you would suggest for me ? other than making the donut lol ?
