Hi , got some Blender problems :I

I started learning some blender from “Blender Guru” ofc , But sometimes I get to the stages where I do everything exactly the same but the response of the software is sometimes different.

He starts to make the handle of the cup of coffee, presses on “Vertex select” And then in a miraculous way when he chooses one dots it glows orange [ for me it glows white ]

He then presses G to move it and the point on the other side also moves. Now for me it glows in white and only the same specific point moves for me when I press G.

Now i know u can use the long way and use “Box tool” and X-ray but still how he does that?

maybe he has enabled the X Ray options in the Viewport Shading, but he has kept the value at 1 (so no apparent transparency)?

In the earlier part of the video he rotates the cup but not in a perfect angle. So I’m guessing he sees all the vertices from orthographic view “by accident”. You should use x-ray or wireframe for such selection.
