how’s it going guys? I’d like to ask how I can extrude that part of the mesh without messing up the topology. Any ideas?

you can use the knife tool K to directly cut new lines to match the shape .

or you can adjust the geometry to match the shape thin extrude it !

but i would prefer the first because the 2nd one needs more attention on how to place vertices
