Hidden faces / edges showing up in edit mode

Heyy forum,

I tried a lot to go back to the usual solid display, but I just can’t find any option to do so - it’s always displaying all hidden faces and edges.

Did you have this before? I already got tons of objects in my scene so it wont be easy to start from the beginning. Cause when I start a new scene everything is ok…

Having this in isolation mode but also regular mode too…


Make sure your normals are facing the correct direction and click the “limit selection to visible” box

The problem was a too high Clip-End value for the camera - I turned it up because of my scene size…

This type of issue should be largely gone with the new viewport code in 2.8 (but it won’t be released until next Summer).

In the meantime, if you can’t afford to decrease the clip-end value, an increase in the clip-start value should help too.

Clipping was going to be my second guess. It’s been bugging the hell out of me as well.
