Hidden lines in 3d view

Hello. I’m new to Blender.
In C4D there is a display “lines and hidden lines”. As he name suggest, it’s about hiding lines behind the object in wireframe mode. Is there something similar in Blender ?
I’m not talking about rendering, but about the 3d view.
I know there is also the “solid” display and the “limit selection selection to visible” button, but in this mode i cannot see my background image that i use as reference
Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks a lot.

No

If it’s about seeing your background image just set it to ‘Front’ in the background image settings so it is in front of your object

Yes but that shading is accessible while in solid shading mode
