Hidden World

Modeled in Blender and rendered in Cycles with a bit of post processing in Gimp. I taught me a lot about Blender and what I can achieve with a bit of patience.


Sun lamp is too sharp i think, also you could add a bit blue glow around earth edges

What I’ve noticed is that the grass is too repetitive and therefore lacks realism. There needs to be a bit more variation. However I feel that everything else is pretty great.

In addition to this, it would also be nice to see a boost in brightness while keeping the darker areas intact.

I know some tend to like the old film look, but it just seems flat to me if it’s used as it comes out of the box.
