Is it possible to hide part of a mesh and mask in Sculpt mode, without a GSOC build?
I’m not sure it’s what you are looking for, but try with ALT+B like in 2.49b, it is always working for 2.5x.
After pressing ALT+B you can drag a selection and only what is inside that selection will be displayed, all the parts not inside of the selection will be hidden.
To get back to seeing the whole object, press ALT+B again.
Thanks, solved one of my problems, but Nicholas Bishop (not totally sure about if I spelled it right) coded a masking system something like zbrush where you could paint in a area that not would be affected by the brush. Is this possible??
