Is it possible to hide an object from the camera, so when rendering the object doesn’t show in the picture? I know it is possible to do it in edit mode, so it makes it easier to edit object. But is it possible to do in animation?
Change it to another layer which is off. (Type M; select the layer you want)
Or just turn off the layer that the object is on in the RenderLayers. Then you can still see it in your viewport, but it will not be rendered.
You can also open an Outliner window, and use Restrict/Allow renderability (far right icon) for that object.
Thank you. I wasn’t familiar with the “world” of layers. You triggered me to learn it. Very useful and it helped me with my problem.
