I’ve modeled high heels for the character but do not want to make another copy of the body mesh (+ armature) with tippy toed rest pose. Any automatic way to warp the shoes mesh so it fits for flat foot rest pose?
You can set any pose as the rest pose, it will override the rest pose. F3 > Apply Pose as Rest Pose

I ended up creating a copy of skeleton, setting its Rest pose into tippy-toed, then animating the transition back to relaxed pose. This let me warp the shoes into this pose using Armature and apply the modifier.
