High quality screenshot

Hi everyone
How can I take a high quality screenshot with blender???

or

How can I export or print a vector file like AutoCAD pdf from Blender without converting mesh to grease pencil???

Export selection as SVG?

Not SVG, because for SVG format you have to convert mesh to grease pencil and then it will show you details. I’m looking for something like “2D Export” in SketchUP software that allows you to export a 2D data (vector or raster) in PDF or JPEG or PNG formats.

Something like AutoCAD print to PDF.

I know we have mesh data in blender and it won’t be able to have a vector show until we convert it to other data, but I’m looking for the best solution.

Always, I export my mesh data to SketchUP and then get my own wish but it’s really limited and because of this, I’m looking for a direct way form blender.

There is an export where the selected objects are exported from view as svg and not grease pencil, I use this for making shapes for icons. Maybe I misunderstood what you are looking for.

Can you show me this feature?

I am at a loss as now I cannot find the addon in the last few versions - yet I have output on hand that was done with it last year.

I am going to have to look further to find it as it used to be a staple in my use with my CO2 laser.

I think I got my wires crossed since I was up too early - the export I use is the Curves to svg, and this won’t work. I have at times used mesh objects set to emission and used autotrace outside of blender but this doesn’t help your need now.

Via View → Viewport Render Image you can render a screenshot without overlays and/or GUI which uses the Output: Format → Resolution and especially also taking the percentage ( % ) into account (so 200% for doubled resolution in X and Y)

I like the way that you said and I think It’s my solution but how can I get this!?

I take a screen with Windows command and it’s not really sharp or high quality
How can I have measures or other viewed options?

The Measure It addon does have an option to render the measures seperately as an image…
(As far as i remember the render does depend on the view size so a very big rener will make the letters small so you have to have them make big… but i’m not sure about it.)
